Yep.  I decided to jump back into this book when I heard about what was happening in this issue.  Pretty good read.  I do like how Ock is developing.  This should get more interesting as things go alone based on how next issue plays out.

I don't read comics too often anymore, and I've never read Superior SM but looking at Ramos' art it makes me want to pick it up. I like his style. Not too realistic and fun looking. It reminds me of Art Adams and Mike Golden.

I've found that nowadays that look catches my attention more often that the gritty, inky splotchy style I see pop up on a lot of books I skim. That style looks like their ink pen is dribbling all over the page and they're trying to cover it up.

I'm still following SSM, but it's a near thing. I like that they made this change, but the knowledge that it will eventually be undone is like an itch I can't scratch. It bugs me. -Chuck

Picked up Night of Owls and City of Owls thought both were really good. Snyder is really keeping batman relevant and I think giving a great addition to his mythology.

Also picked up all new x-men volume 1. Wow. I hope this book continues to be this good. Am looking forward to getting some more marvel now and new 52 trades.

Like monkeyfoot I rarely read comics anymore.  I feel bad for people who do, because they are so expensive and so thin nowadays.  I still make regular trips to the comic store and check out the books.  If I see something I like...I'll buy it...but my purchases are usually based on the artwork (I used to be an illustrator and when I was a young lad, and couldn't get enough comics, quickly enough, made my own).  I really like Humberto Ramos's's obviously derivative but has a unique flair.

Digital comics might be where it's at.  Not a collector at that point however, but if you want to read only...
