Common told MTV Movies Blog that he's not 100% sure the 'Justice League' movie will happen, but he's very hopeful that he will play the big-screen Green Lantern after all.
“I would love to say it will go through,” Common told MTV News. “I pray and hope that it will. Keep speaking it for real and it’s gonna happen.”
Why so comitted to this part in a movie that's off to a shaky start (delayed the WGA strike, casting controversy and the more recent tax-credit scuffle with the Australian government)?
“For me, my daughter on Halloween she played Wonder Woman. She was Wonder Woman,” Common smiled. “For her to see her dad up there [next to Wonder Woman] - it would be beautiful.”
