Rapper-turned-actor Common told JFX Online that he's still hopeful he'll get his turn to play Green Lantern in the planned 'Justice League' movie.
“Now that the writers strike is over, [the script is] going to head back to the writers for a cleanup. God willing, it’ll get done. This would be a big role for me,” Common said.
Script delays and reported controversy over the cast of the film caused Warner Bros to halt plans for production earlier this year. The film is now delayed until at least later this year.
