Connery Takes Call to Return as Bond!

Word is going around that none other than Sean Connery has agreed to provide the voice of Bond in Electronic Arts' James Bond 007: From Russia With Love. Connery will apparently be "recording the full voice track in the Caribbean during the next few weeks."

EA is using Connery's likeness for Bond in the game, and the story will follow the film's plot fairly closely.

The game will ship in either late 2005 or early 2006 on Xbox, PlayStation 2 and GameCube.

this is the man who is ...bond , james bond .sean connery has that voice that cool and suave. its nice to see him back as bond even for a game.

YES!!! This is an INCREDIBLE development! I've been a Bond fan (the films and books) since I was a little kid, and to have the "real" James Bond return to role is just too much to have ever hoped for. I'm currently playing EA's "Everything Or Nothing", and thoroughly enjoying it---it's just as good as any of the Bond films, and the closest you'll ever get to actually being in one. With this latest development, though, the high bar set by "Everything Or Nothing" will be surpassed. Fellow 007 fans, we are in for an all-time high (pun intended)!

F**ING A RIGHT MAN. Sean Connery for life bitches. I have high hopes for this game. It probably wont be as good as golden eye on N64 (that sh%t is classic) but it will most deffinatley be better than the rest.
