Um, am I the only one who thinks this will probably not work as a series? If they even do bring in another Terminator, want that kill continuity in the movies? I have a feeling this is going to have a very short run.

hmmmm...... I sense a early cancellation? Will it, have limited run like Drive? To me whole concept is stupid. Its screws with time line does anybody really care? what happened to John & Sarah when John was growing up? Everything that happened to them was laided out in T2. why rehash? Ooooooo...... blacks op's are watching Sarah & John.

Hopefully, if they do this right, they will follow soem of the story lines set forth in the movies... At the end of one she is down in Mexico - in t2, young John talks about her getting involved with former green berets/special forces type of men - spending time in Nicaragua, etc... Could be good.

Yech. Why do that? I don' think that anyone is really going to be reminded of Virginia Tech by the time this show is out. What they need to do is make this show watchable. That's the only changes I want.

morgan, you have a feeling? how many TV series based on popular action movies have lasted beyond one season? very few. (if any) and sci/fi movies? none. (well except Superman's Lois and Clark and Buffy the Vampire Slayer) any that took the sci/fi out of their movies and replaced it with melodrama? mm... this list is shrinking fast. well if they arent using a T-100 or T-1000 it will just be Sarah Connor and John doing stuff each week and people expect to see Terminators in this show... taking them out will be this shows undoing. (kinda like taking Batman, Robin and Joker out of Birds of Prey yet still setting it in Gotham City) Mmmm Hmmm... yup... snowballs chance in hell of getting past the first season and a fighting chance in hell of getting past the first 13 shows. I predict 4-10 shows and an early shitcan... oh, if its a FOX show then the odds of a first season shitcan go up dramatically, although all the networks are doing "early death by shitty ratings" now... it seems to be the rage now.

I thought this wasn't airing until January anyway? (Also a bad sign this sucks) Maybe they wanted to redo scenes because this show blows chunks. I'd love for this to be good, believe me, but Mckracken you are right, most of the time this kinda thing fails. Even if they do have the terminator chasing them, what each episode they out chase him? Wouldn't that get old after 22 episodes? (assuming it even lasts that long)

Yeah, I`m going to have to go with the general consensus that this show will either 1) suck or 2) barely last a season People are really going to want to see Terminators and while Linda Hamilton was a kick ass Sarah Connor in T2, I just don`t see this having the same charisma. Also taking out scenes that may cause a bruhaha due to the Virginia Tech shooting is a bad move. Imagine if Moore would have done that with BSG and the suicide bombers. Those first few episodes would not have had the same impact as they did. The creators of this show should be shooting for something like BSG not some PC sitcom/drama.
