Mike Bullock's wonderful all-ages comic 'Lions, Tigers and Bears' has been optioned for development as a live-action feature film, according to Variety. 'Transformers' producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura is set to produce the film fro Paramount Pictures. Joey Aucoin is writing the script.
The comic centers on a young boy named Joey who discovers that the stuffed lions and tigers that his grandmother gives him as a gift are actually the "Night Pride", guardians of a mystical world who come to life at night.
Variety states that the film will be live action but considering the number of non-human characters, it'll be live-action as well.
