With every Ghostbusters 3 update we pass along at Mania, we've seen skeptics voice their concerns about venturing into yet another classic genre property and whether it can hold up to the original. Based on the latest interview from director Harold Ramis, the creators seem to understand that concern and want to prove it wrong.
Director Harold Ramis, who may lead the third installment if the story is right, sat down with Natalie Portman's new website venture MakingOf to discuss the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel.
The next project is currently being scripted out by "The Office" co-executive producers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky. Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson are set to return in a mentor capacity while handing the reins over to a younger team of ecto-plasma fighters.
