The San Diego Comic Con has come and gone. As we sit back and take in all the information I thought I would highlight the Top 10 Toys at Comic Con. There were plenty of exclusives this year. Surprisingly, there were not as many sell outs as previous years. DC Direct and Diamond Select Toys usually have great exclusives. This year, it was if they weren’t even there. Hasbro and Mattel were out in full force but there were still plenty of surprises from different companies.

Matt Smith is shaping up to be an incredible Doctor. What better way to build onto your collection with new sculpts of the Doctor and a Dalek. Missed it at the Con? Check it out on Underground Toys.com.

9. Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World by Mezco Toyz

Look for these, with perfect comic book likeness, in August with the release of the film. Check Mezco’s site for more details.

8. Star Wars Stormtrooper Super Shogun by Super7

Best toys shown at San Diego Comic Con 2010

Standing at 24 inches tall and packing a spring-loaded Rocket Punch firing fist, the Super Shogun Stormtrooper is awesome. The only down side is the price. It is equally awesome at $300. Check out the Super7 site for more details. A Boba Fett, in the same style, will be coming soon.

7. The Shadow Beast by Mattel

One of the newest and biggest Masters of the Universe Classic figures to emerge from the Mattel line. Its release date is for next year.

6. Kermit the Frog from EFX Collectibles

Best toys shown at San Diego Comic Con 2010

EFX Collectibles had some of their prototypes at the Con. To actually have a working Muppet is a fan’s dream. Check out their site for updates on Rizzo the Rat and the Great Gonzo. Now all I have to do is work on my impersonation.

5. Star Wars Retro Packaging by Hasbro

Best toys shown at San Diego Comic Con 2010

Why weren’t the figures packaged this way from the beginning! Many fans don’t open the figures to begin with, now there is even better reason not to. Thank you for doing this Hasbro, thank you.

4. The Batwing by Cinemaquette

Best toys shown at San Diego Comic Con 2010

At 27.5 inches wide by 23 inches long and 14 inches high how could you not want one? Sadly you could by a car for the same price as the Batwing. Check out the Cinemaquette site for the complete run down.

3. Superman by Cinemaquette

Best toys shown at San Diego Comic Con 2010

Limited to only 1,000 pieces it looks as if it is the ultimate Superman/ Christopher Reeve collectible. He stands at an amazing 29 inches tall. It is the perfect center piece to your collection. Check out the Cinemaquette site for more details.

2. Masters of the Universe Classic Orko

Best toys shown at San Diego Comic Con 2010

Orko sold out during the presale and again on the Con floor. MattyCollector is having another batch for sale on their site next week. This will probably be your last chance to get one.

1. 19 Inch Marvel Universe Glacatus by Hasbro

Best toys shown at San Diego Comic Con 2010

By far it was the toy to pick up at the San Diego Comic Con. It was a huge thing to carry around the floor and could not be missed. What amazed me was how many people had more than one of these.
