Author J.K. Rowling has once again hinted that readers may have not seen the last of her Harry Potter universe. With Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows set to begin launching in theaters in November---the first of a two-part film that culminates next summer---the author raised prospects to the fans that we may see more novels set in the magical world.

"I could definitely write an eighth, ninth, 10th [book]," author J.K. Rowling tells Oprah Winfrey in an interview airing Friday.

For now, Rowling is content with leaving the characters alone for now.

"I'm not going to say I won't. I don't think I will ... I feel I am done, but you never know," the British author added, saying that she is "in a new phase."

Rowling, who has sold more than 400 million copies of her novels, also admitted that finishing "Deathly Hallows" was "a bereavement."
