MEN IN BLACK Set Photos Online

Men in Black III is now filming in New York City. The Daily Mail and Splash News Online websites have published a number of behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot. Featured are Emma Thompson and Tommy Lee Jones in civilian clothing, and Will Smith and Nicole Scherzinger in movie costume and makeup. Scherzinger is even sporting some weird, Leia-esque hair bun/braid thing clearly marking her as a villain. An alien villain.

SUPERMAN Suit Moves Forward

The seemingly never-ending battle between Warner Bros, the heirs of Joe Shuster and Jerry Siegel and attorney Marc Toberoff over the rights to Superman is stumbling forward once again.

Regular readers may recall that back in October, Toberoff filed an appeal for dismissal of Warner Bros' legal actions taken directly against him (and not his clients). Action in the battle was suspended until the appeal was considered and speculation was that the process could take some 18 months.

However, THR Esq reports that on Tuesday a federal judge has cleared Warner Bros to start their information gathering in the lawsuit. The move favors Warner Bros who have cleared at least one hurdle in going after Toberoff personally and will now be able to question his clients directly about his conduct in the Superman rights battle.

Denis Leary in SPIDER-MAN

Heat Vision breaks the news that Rescue Me star Denis Leary is in negotiations to play Captain George Stacy in Marc Webb's Spider-Man reboot.

Fans know that Captain Stacy is the father of Gwen Stacy (played by Emma Stone in the movie) and a strong proponent of both Peter Parker and Spider-Man. However the police man meets a tragic end during a battle between the wall crawler and Doc Ock, causing Gwen to become embittered against Spider-Man.

The hotly-anticipated 3D movie begins filming next month. Andrew Garfield is set to play the hero while Rhys Ifans is on board to play the villain, whose identity has not yet been confirmed by credible sources.

MTV Splash Page has scored a cool exclusive with a six-minute clip that intros the new Cartoon Network series Young Justice. The clip shows a series of scenes introducing the four core sidekick heroes, Robin, Speedy, Aqualad and Kid Flash and is followed by clips that tease out the action of the opening segment.

Interestingly, we've only seen the female Green Arrow protege Artemis in promo art for the show, so it's a surprise to see Speedy featured so prominently. The eventual roster is also to include Superboy and Miss Martian.

The show premiers in a one-hour event on Cartoon Network on November 26 at 7 PM Eastern.

Enjoy the clip....
