The remake of James O'Barr's The Crow has had its share of ups and downs so far, likely to the pleasure of many fans of the original who don't want to see a remake made, but it looks like there's potential for a new director to step into the chair since things have been open for a bit. According to Blodoy Disgusting, they've been tipped off that Juan Carlos Fresnadillo of 28 Week Later fame and the upcoming Intruders is currently in talks to take it on. Fresnadillo has been taking meetings with Relativity on it but nothing is firm at this point. The merry-go-round of talks occurs with almost every film and this is no different. Fresnadillo was most recently attached to the the game adaptation Bioshock.
