Supernatural: Let It Bleed and There's a New God in Town (

Ever been friends with this person, and then you think the person is becoming a dick, so you stop being friends, and tell the person you don’t like them anymore, and then that person goes on and becomes God?  I hate it when that happens. The season six finale wasn’t big on epic battles, but what it lacked in majicks and fisticuffs it made up for in keeping the viewers salivating for season seven.

Cas has been the boys biggest ally at times, and a trusted friend as well, and it his past loyalty to the Winchester boys will prove interesting down the road when Cas has to make some even harder decisions. Villains like Crowely are fun, because Mark Sheppard is a fine actor who enjoys spitting out his well-written lines as he stomps about and chews up the scenery. Now that it appears Castiel is the chief baddie, the audience will be torn between their allegiance to the stars of the show, or their love of the good-intentioned fallen angel. Personally I think Cas has created a fail safe somewhere for Sam and Dean to find if he can’t control his new powers.

Now if only a certain other “super” CW show knew how to come up with a finale one quarter this good. Eh, I shouldn’t get into it. I don’t need more hate mail.
