New Prometheus TV Spot (Mania.com)

20th Century Fox not only released a statement that Prometheus would be rated R (see article), but they released a new TV Spot as well.

The Plot: A team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

The sci-fi adventure stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Idris Elba, Logan Marshall-Green and Charlize Theron. Helmer Ridley Scott led from the director's chair, based on a story he developed with writers Damon Lindelof and Jon Spaihts.

Prometheus crashes into 3D/2D/IMAX theaters on June 8, 2012.
