The San Diego Comic Con is only 47 days away. If you haven’t booked your hotel yet you had better get on it. If you didn’t buy tickets yet, well you’re not going. No Comic Con for you, sorry. However you aren’t completely shut out of all the Nerdvana goodies. Many companies such as Hasbro and Mattel offer online purchases for those of you at home. They have to (see why here).

The insanity starts for the Comic Con exclusives in February with Toy Fair. Many companies hint at what they will have, others simply state it. Personally, I love getting them on the show room floor. It adds to the joy of Comic Con. On the flip side, I hate carrying them around and waiting in those damn lines.

As I mentioned before Comic Con is 47 days away. Here is the Toy Maniac’s first look at the San Diego Comic Con Exclusives.

QMx SDCC Exclusives

QMx is company I had the pleasure of meeting with at WonderCon this year (see coverage). Their work is not only pristine but affordable, too. They possess a wide variety of licenses; all of which we love here at Mania. Here are their first two SDCC Exclusives. Check out the official site here

Battlestar Galactica Admiral Adama Animated Maquette - Price: 59.95

Book - Firefly Little Damn Heroes Maquette #7 - Price: 39.95

MattyCollector

They are now the best organized, the most sought after, and there is always one “must buy” from Mattel. MattyCollector is a force to be reckoned with at Comic Con. Competition is so fierce that they have even removed embedding from their sight. If you want to check out their SDCC Exclusives, look here. Last year their Stay Puft Marshmallow Man was the big seller. This year “Death” (from Vertigo Comics) looks pretty good.

Hasbro Exclusives

Hasbro had a few exclusives at Toy Fair but since then have announced a few more. Their Transformer exclusives always go very quickly. They also carry a hefty price (before and after they are sold).

Rust in Peace Cliff Jumper - Price: Unknown

Decepticon Bruticus Special Edition Figure - Price: Unknown (expect it to be at least $100)

3 GI Joe Retaliation SDCC Exclusives - Price: Various

These will probably be easier to get than the Transformers. Maybe not the HISS Tank (as it transformers into the Decpticon Shockwave), but the figures are always available.

Hasbro always has a great Star Wars Comic Con Exclusive. This year they are hitting the fans with a Carbon Frozen Jar Jar Binks. He’ll be one of seven figures and come packed in a Carbon Freezing Chamber style box (price unknown). So, yes, you will be getting two Jar Jar figures.

- Jar Jar Binks – Episode I (regular style)

- Clone Trooper Lieutenant – Episode II

- Shock Trooper – Episode III

- Sandtrooper (with Sentry Droid) – Episode IV

- Princess Leia (Bespin Gown) – Episode V

- Darth Vader (Emperor’s Wrath) – Episode VI

The San Diego Comic Con Exclusives are still coming in. Even now the SDCC website has only a few listed (see here). Toys are not the only exclusives at Comic Con. There are exclusive comics, t-shirts, posters...
