The good folks at Diamond Select Toys have a bunch of new treats for toy fans everywhere just in time for Halloween…you WILL salivate over these!

First off is the release of the Mad Monster Party figures based on the classic 1967 stop-motion animated film. Now, the film gets the toy treatment it deserves with movie-accurate action figures of The Baron, Fang and Dracula! Each 7-inch scale figure includes a display base and movie-accurate accessories, and comes in its own display-ready collector packaging. Sculpted by Tony Cipriano!

Next up, America’s First Family of Fright, The Munsters, return in a new black and white deluxe collector’s set. Herman, Lily, Grandpa, Marilyn and Eddie -- as they looked in their original black and-white TV appearances on The Munsters! The Black-and-white versions of Eddie and Marilyn will only be available as part of this set, and all of them come with bases and accessories in a display-quality window box. Sculpted by Jean St. Jean!

And even more Munsters goodness! The first-ever Munsters Minimates vehicle is the Munsters Koach! It comes in an exclusive black-and-white color scheme, with an excusive figure of Herman Munster in his racing outfit. The Koach can accommodate multiple 2-inch Minimate figures, and is packed on a blister card.

Universal Monsters Minimates expands its popular line with the Hunchback of Notre Dame box set. The set includes Quasimodo, Phoebus, the set-exclusive Esmerelda and the set-exclusive King of Fools Quasimodo! Each Minimate stands 2 inches tall with 14 points of articulation and a variety of removable and interchangeable parts and accessories.
Diamond Select is celebrating the 100th issue of the Walking Dead with an exclusive black and white edition Minimate two-pack. Winter Coat Dale and the Female Zombie come colored in shades of grey, in honor of the long-running black-and-white series, and will only be available through retailers participating in Halloween ComicFest. Each Minimate stands 2 inches tall with 14 points of articulation and a variety of removable and interchangeable parts and accessories.
The latest in the Universal Monsters Select series is The Phantom of the Opera.  From the 1923 version of the film comes Lon Chaney as the Phantom, rendered by sculpting virtuoso Jean St. Jean!  Standing 7 inches tall and fully articulated, the Phantom comes with a book of music and his organ accessory, and both the unmasked sculpt and the organ are exclusive to this version. It's like a piece of movie history you can put on your shelf! The Phantom and his organ come in display-ready collector packaging, and are only available on the specialty market!

Also in the Universal Monsters vein are the new Retro Cloth Action Figures series 3.  This series features The Bride of Frankenstein, with real cloth gown and bandages, and the Creature from the Black Lagoon, with a unique blend of sculpted and fabric parts! Designed and Sculpted by EMCE Toys, each figure stands 8" tall with over 14 points of articulation and an authentically detailed full cloth outfit, and comes packaged in re-sealable clamshell packaging.

So be sure to start scouring your local comic book and specialty shops for all of these fantastic new toys from Diamond Select!
