The Walking Dead: Inmates Review (of 1) (

Review Date: Tuesday, February 18, 2014
Release Date: Tuesday, February 18, 2014

Last week it was Rick, Carl & Michonne, this week we find out what happened to everyone else.

Darryl & Beth made it out together, and are tracking possible survivors.  Their tracking leads them to footprints, grapes and a zombie with mad ninja skills.  How else to explain how a lone zombie can sneak up on them except with ninja skills?

Anyway, turns out the survivors they were tracking were Tyrese, Lizzie, Mika and Baby Judith.  Oh praise Lord Xenu, Baby Judith is alive and well.  Why was her car seat in the mid season finale all bloodied up but she has no scratch on her?  Because reasons!  We know it was Tyrese and the girls that Darryl and Beth were tracking because we see the grapes, and the dead rabbits.  That may be a clue to the identity of the person who was feeding rats to zombies in the prison, we see you Lizzie.  At this point it doesn’t matter who it was because that seems to have been all but forgotten on this show.

Still, all signs point to Lizzie who is as cold as ice and was about 10 seconds from murdering Baby Judith until Carol shows up.  Yes, Carol is back.  She’s been gone for around 5 episodes so it’s been less than in week in the show’s time.  Poor Tyrese is still unaware it was Carol who burned his girl’s body so he was all happy to see her.  Good on Carol for not revealing that info right then and there cause that would’ve been awkward.  What’s Carol been up to?  Whatever it was to she lied about it.  The group takes advice from a friendly dying guy who Tyrese couldn’t save (Fun fact #1, the guy is the ninja zombie that attacked Daryl & Beth).    The guy sent them to sanctuary, a placed called Terminus.  For those that have read the comics this may end up taking the place of Alexandria or Negan’s Sanctuary.

Maggie was chilling with Sasha and Drunk Bob who is looking pretty good for a guy that got shot and hasn’t had a drink in a few hours.  He also looks like he wants to bang Sasha hard.  All three of them head out to find Glen last seen on a bus according to Maggie.  The three of them eventually find Glen’s bus except it’s full of walkers.  Maggie needs to make sure if Glen is dead or alive so they let the zombies off the bus and quickly dispatch of them one by one.  No Asian Zombie inside the bus, so we’re all good, Glen is alive.  But where is he?

Glen is still passed out in the prison but wakes up just before he becomes zombie food.  He decides he wants to live and find Maggie so equips the riot gear, grabs some booze and gets the hell out of there.  On his way he stumbles upon Tara who at this point may possibly be the last lesbian on Earth.  She’s guilty for the whole killing of Hershel and prison shootout but Glen sort of forgives her because he needs her help to find Maggie.  The two of them make it out of the prison and stumble upon more zombies down the road.  Glen handles most of them until he passes out.  Does he still have the flu?  They better not go back to all the coughing going on during the first half of the season.  Tara crushes the only zombie Glen couldn’t get to and then boys and girls, the best thing of this entire episode happened.  Yes, the show has finally introduced Abraham, Rosita, and Eugene.  Yeah buddy!!  Can’t wait for next week to see more from them.

Fun Fact #2:  The Bob of Bobs, Mr. Bob Trate’s birthday was 2/17 the same day as one Michael Jeffrey Jordan.  Make sure to wish Jordan a happy birthday in the comments below :)
