One would think that with all the press Marvel is getting for Guardians of the Galaxy they would let everyone, including DC Comics, breathe for a moment. There is no stopping the House of Ideas as now a short list of directors has surfaced for Doctor Strange. Here the list that The Hollywood Reporter (see article here) has posted:
Mark Andrews co-director of Disney’s Brave and the second unit director on John Carter.
Jonathan Levine director of 50/50, Warm Bodies, and All The Boys Love Mandy Lane.

Dean Israelite director of Welcome To Yesterday.
Nikolaj Arcel director of A Royal Affair.

Now has come out with another story that Mads Mikkelsen (Hannibal) is in the running for the title character. This might just be connecting the dots as Mikkelsen was in Arcel’s A Royal Affair

There will be a lot of guessing and trying to piece things together as we all eagerly await the next mighty Marvel casting move. Is Johnny Depp out of the running? Do we want Johnny Depp? His connection to Marvel’s parent company, Disney, is solid. Sound off below Maniacs!
