Activision announced today that it has 14 XBOX titles and 10 GAMECUBE titles in development.

The revelation came during an earning call in which Activision announced a slight profit, beating analysts' expectations. The company announced that it has 65 titles in development for the 2002 fiscal year.

Among those 65 titles are 10 for Nintendo's GAMECUBE, and 13 are for Microsoft's XBOX. One XBOX title will be released this year (TONY HAWKS' PRO SKATER 2X). Activision also revealed that TONY HAWK'S PRO SKATER 3 is in development for the GAME BOY ADVANCE, along with a remake of SPACE INVADERS.

Activision's key O2 franchise will remain strong with new releases in the Tony Hawk, Matt Hoffman, Kelly Slater (surfing) and Shaun Palmer (snowboarding) series. The company will also release several movie games including SPIDER-MAN THE MOVIE, and STUART LITTLE for all of Nintendo's platforms.

Activision reported that the past quarter was the best opening quarter ever for the company, and with future plans this big, things can only get better.
