DC Comics announced on Wednesday that it is "indefinitely" postponing THE AUTHORITY: WIDESCREEN one-shot special from WildStorm Productions.
DC says that it pulled the book "due to concerns over its content in light of the tragedies of Sept. 11."
The 18-page lead story, written and drawn by Bryan Hitch, provoked the postponement because of its depiction of a damaged New York City. THE AUTHORITY: WIDESCREEN, a 48-page book, was originally solicited for release on Nov. 21.
