The Review!
The first time I watched the first two episodes, I was actually afraid to continue this DVD due to its dark overtones, but now that I have seen it, I can gladly say that this is WELL worth every penny.

Bandai, known very well for their Gundam Wing release has picked up a real gem here. First off, the video is CRYSTAL clear, much more than actually necessary, which makes it an excellent candidate for an 'eye-candy' anime award. The sound is very well distributed, through its Dolby-Surround encryption. The English dub... hmmm, where did it go? It disappeared after the second episode. Strange...

Story-wise it surpasses a LOT of anime that I've seen, and I've seen quite a bit, but the adventures of Bolt Crank send him pretty much everywhere on the face of the planet, looking for bounty to hunt, while leaving immediately after he finishes a job. This makes you wonder if he really can't swallow human emotion, or that he actually has a heart in that shell of a body of his. It has a lot of twists and turns and if you're looking to adding a real gem to your libraries, you can't go wrong here. You get the entire '98 series of this cutting edge anime for less than $40! Most anime collections like this are at least $60-250 dollars (The $250 one being the forth-coming Macross DVD Collection) so, if you can find it, be sure to pick it up.

Sound: 9.5 (For those who like the English dubs, and there are quite a few of you, you might be cut a little short here.)

Visuals: 10 (The visuals are like that of Macross Plus, crystal clear and completely immersive.)

Overall: 10 (For the price, the overall packaging and all the features you get with this *I mean, come on, you can't pass up 13 episodes for $30-40 dollars!* YOU NEED to seriously take a look at this!)
