The Review!
Macross, one of the great Anime Classics finally brought legally to America in its original form, and it has never looked better.

Video
While still Greatly Better then Fansubs or Robotech, the video does still show its age in some places.

Audio
On my [sarcasm] terrific system [/sarcasm] the audio comes through it a beautiful Mono. I cannot make any comments on stereo sound, as I don't have that option. But for mono, its crystal clear.

Menus
Rather Simple, a view of the Cockpit with various scenes being played in the middle, episode choices to the right and misc options near the bottom.

Extras
There aren't anything extra wise on the disc, however AnimEigo does give little linear note cards in the case. In this case, extras don't really matter, The Opening is already creditless and the closing isn't anything to get worked up about. An Image Gallery would have been nice.

Review Equipment
APEX AD-660 DVD Player (Macrovison Disabled) going through a Emerson VCR to a Orion 13" TV
