The Review!

Well, as I'm from Peru, I'm going to review this from my "Latin
American" point of view.

The DVD set is just great, I bought this at 74 dollars because I used Pre-Order on Amazon.com. So, compared with the VHS, this set is worth the price.

The audio is fine, in Japanese music sounds louder and clearer than in English, the dub version is very well done.

The subtitles are just to yellow for my taste, it's a little bit annoying, but you get used to it. Another point about the subtitles: They are more close to the original meaning in Japanese than the dub. One thing I don't like is they left some subtitles in the original video, for example in the Xmas OVAs, the panda signs translation are on the video. Also in the part when they play cards, the names of the characters are translated over the original names. They should have used the alternate scene option, just like Disney does. When you choose Spanish, all the scenes with signs, and the credits change to Spanish. They should have done something like this, when you choose Japanese, EVERYTHING should be in JAPANESE, even the RANMA 1/2 title at the beginning of each OVA, like a collector's edition.

Even with this, the DVD is a very good buy, I don't regret have bought it.
