Disney Releasing WALL E on DVD and Blu-Ray Nov. 18 (Mania.com)

With the summer season now officially over and school back in session, studios are queuing up to the podium ready to announce the DVD and Blu-Ray releases for their latest hit films. A few hours after Universal Pictures announced the October release of The Incredible Hulk, Disney and Pixar have likewise announced their planned home release for Wall-E. The robot tale will be available in both single-disc and triple-disc version on November 18, 2008, with the latter version coming with special features about the film's robot heroes, including Web vignettes and an interactive storybook, and a detailed documentary on Pixar.

The releases also include a digital copy of the film, playable on mobile devices. When the actual specs come in from Disney, we'll pass them along.

The Pixar film cost an estimated $180 million and wound up grossing $216.5 mil domestically and currently has another $70.2 mil in foreign sales.
