Comic-Con is less than one week away! Here's the latest installment of COMIC-CON PITCH 2006, in which Comics2Film endeavors to connect indie comics creators with Hollywood producers.

Today we're talking to...well...ourselves really. Rob M. Worley, founder and EIC of Comics2Film talks about his book 'Heir to Fire'!

Q: Describe HEIR TO FIRE in two sentences or less.

HEIR TO FIRE by Rob M. Worley and Mike Dubisch

Rob M. Worley (RW): Ryan Morales is struggling to fit in, in his dusty home town of Gila Flats, AZ. When monstrous creatures overtake Gila Flats, he must set aside his fears and unleash the secret power that burns within him.

Q: If you were to compare HEIR TO FIRE to a movie or TV show what would it be?

RW: HEIR TO FIRE is INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS meets THEM meets UNBREAKABLE.

Q: Why do you think HEIR TO FIRE would translate to film/TV/animation?

RM: HEIR TO FIRE is filled with creepy scares and superheroic adventure, not to mention its bursting with amazing visuals, like giant monsters, weird creatures and sci-fi tech. But like a good comic book movie, it's got a nice human heart to it.

Q: Why should movie folks seek you out at Comic-Con?

RM: We will have the first production copies of this hardbound book there. Movie folks can breeze through it, check out Mike Dubisch's stunning monster art, and then get the secret outline for the four book series. Plus there are six other Actionopolis books that are almost as molten hot as HEIR TO FIRE!

Q: How can folks find you at Comic-Con (please provide booth number and additonal contact info)?

RW: I'll be at the Actionopolis table, #2302 throughout most of the show. We've also got a panel discussion at 6pm on Thursday night in Room 1A.
