To celebrate last week's release of THE X-FILES - SEASON 8 on DVD, 20th Century Fox Home Video and our pals at M80 are teaming up to give a lucky Cinescape reader the chance to win a piece of actual artwork used in the making of the hit TV series!
Click on this article's image and you'll see a photo of the authentic production cell we're talking about. These production storyboard cells were made by the art department staff working on THE X-FILES to blueprint out what the sets would look like. After the set was constructed the cell would then be used for planning out cast and set positions for the scene in question. 20th Century Fox assures us that this is an authentic production cell from the remaining X-FILES archives and is exclusive and unique -- there's only one like it in the whole wide world, and it's up for grabs!
Here's how you can enter the contest for the production cell:
Season eight of THE X-FILES introduced a new partner for Agent Scully, a seasoned FBI veteran named John Doggett (played by Robert Patrick). Come up with a BRIEF description of an X-FILES story, in the tradition of the series, that could have happened in season eight of the show using Scully and Doggett. Here's your chance to close any dangling loose ends, revisit spooky locations or have rematches with adversaries from past episodes and give you a chance to come up with your take on an X-FILES episode!
To be in the running, post your entry in this message thread in our X-FILES forum. All entries must be posted to this thread before the close of the contest on Thursday, November 20 at 12:01 AM. Additional details on the contest can be found in the contest thread.

Good luck to all, and remember: the truth is out there. (The box set of season 8 X-FILES DVDs is easier to find: they're in stores now.)
Got a scoop? Know something that you need to tell us about? Send it to us!
