Again I enjoyed this episode like last week's. It was intellectually engaging. It involved investigative police work that this time didn't look like a crime procedural. And we learned more about Kiera, Kagame, Alec.

In future scenes I was suprised to see Kiera questioning the food riot (Yeah, I thought of Demolition Man.They should have been stealing Taco Bell food!). She didn't seem like she was ever the questioning type before in her regular life, so this was different.

Kagame was doing what I figured he do all along when he finally showed up: manpulating events to his needs without getting his hands dirty. Though at first when he arrived I thought he was going to turn out to be a benevolent leader who would change the future while doing no harm. I thought it would blur the line of him being the bad guy, but now we see he is perfectly capable of being ruthless and maybe deadly to suit his needs. But I can see a conflict coming between him and his main muscle, the steroid/HGH/testostorne/brain chemical enhanced fighter (can't remember his name). I have a feeling Kagame will have some great scheme in place and the Muscle will get impatient and somebody's not going to live through the confrontation.

As you said very intellectually engaging but not so much emotionally. This seems to be the style of the show and I'm getting used to it.

Very well put, Monkeyfoot. It's cool, but it's not the coolest kid in school. I'm ok with that, as long as it continues to be intellectually engaging.

The episode "didn't ever fulling engage" eh?

I don't mean to be a snark, but really. The proof reading on Mania seems to be non-existent.

does anyone else notice how the show just goes to commercial out of nowhere? The timing is really strange. Or maybe its just me

JDK008, I would imagine this has to do with the show originally airing in Canada and having different timing when it comes to commercial breaks, if any. So for the US airing they probably have to work the breaks in suddenly in-between scenes that were not originally intended for them. I did notice this, too.
