What They Say
Jazz agers, flower children, lost generation, beatniks, rockers, punks, nerds, hackers, lovers, generation X - whatever the designation, there have always been outlaws in our society who live in pursuit of autonomy.

At times they are revered for their roles as pioneers, challenging the unknown; other times people consider them lawless desperadoes and a dangerous presence.

Yet, really, it is only their exuberant music and an autonomy founded to express opinions different from those of others that set them apart from the rest of society.

The year 2071 AD. That future is now. Driven out of their terrestrial eden, humanity chose the stars as the final frontier. With the section-by-section collapse of the former nations a mixed jumble of races and peoples came. They spread to the stars, taking with them the now confused concepts of freedom, violence, illegality and love, where new rules and a new generation of outlaws came into being. People referred to them as Cowboy Bebops.....

The Review!
In this the fifth volume of the Japanese release of Cowboy Bebop the following sessions are presented: Session #13 "Jupiter Jazz"(PART 2), Session #14 "Bohemian Rhapsody", and Session #15 "My Funny Valentine". Session #15 is notable for an important revelation about Faye's past.

In Session #13 a second death related to the past takes place. This emotionally charged two-part episode comes to an end. The issues between Spike and Vicious are still left unresolved.

In Session #14 someone is playing with the crew of the Bebop like pieces in a game of chess. Someone behind the scenes is making their bounties worthless. Ed electric personality gets a boost and her game gets a challenge from a pro. It's a spaced-out Cowboy Bebop.

In Session #15 Faye Valentine is reborn. Find out where this femme fatale came from. A touching and romantic story about a past lost and mounting debt.

Well then, have you been buying the domestic release of this fine title? Come on now, it rarely gets any better than this. Cool and smooth action, great music, and interesting characters. Cowboy Bebop is a truly unique series in my opinion.

As always, video quality if superb and the Dolby Stereo audio delivers clear sound. This release in its packaging and presentation should be a positive example for the domestic distributors.
