"The Ultimate series was so cinematic and so spectacular there was no real way to tell that story in single form," says 'Ultimate Avengers 2' producer Craig Kyle. "It was a project that lent itself to an immediate sequel. We had to modify the story so it definitely deviates a little bit more from The Ultimates but we did bring Bryan Hitch in to help us. We didn't want to put a new character into it without his vision.
