Craig's Spokesman Says He's No Bond

By: News Editor
Date: Thursday, April 07, 2005
Source: The Stateman

A spokesman for Daniel Craig told The Stateman that Craig is not going to be the next James Bond. This followed a story that was put out by The Sun claiming it was nearly a done deal for the actor to take over the role of Agent 007.

The Statesman tried to get Eon Productions to confirm or deny the rumors but Eon refused to comment.

The SUn strikes again ! All UK tabloids are the lowest form of press and should be completely discounted in all instances like this.

Shame though, Daniel Craig is fantastic !

Daniel Craig is good, but i don't think he's got what it takes to be bond.

Darn, what a shame.
Can I interest anyone in a nice dose of sarcasm?

Daniel Craig is second-rate at best.
Here's a thought, though: maybe if they stopped trying to turn James Bond into Rambo and stuck to good espionage plots rather than "action event pictures," then Pierce Brosnan would have stayed around a little longer. Or, at least, his replacement wouldn't matter as much for this dying franchise, because going back to the formula that makes Bond what he is would make who the actor is a relatively moot point.

Barbara Broccoli is killing Bond. She needs to go away like the Star Trek producer/idiots finally are.

this daniel craig , isnt bond material. im glad they passed on him . clive owens is a better choice or even bad boy collin farell with his bad boy "tude ", and dont even think of jude law or hugh jackon they are too girly (LOL).i hope any fan out there have read any of flemings books or even raymond bensons novels know that the bond character must have some ruthless mean steak to him, but stay borderline hero . thats hard to do . im happy what broccoli did for bond in the 90's and into the 21th century with brosnan , but its time again to chose a actor that can seriously say one liners without sounding corny. the studios is what makes the big choices in how they want bond to be . i think us fans have our ideas on who we rather have as bond , but i really hope whatever the do works . in the years ive known to enjoy bond , actors connery and brosnan made him great to watch , even though a few of the plots and movies did sux , i do believe bond can exsist in the 21 th century . come on fans lets hear it !!!!!!!
