Hobbs, excellent idea on adapting Vince Flynn novels. While I think Clancy crafts a finer story, it may not be as exciting and slick as the Mitch Rapp series. And Mitch Rapp would kick the crap out of Jack Ryan. :D As far as Raimi adapting Clancy's work, I think it's an awesome thing and I believe it would be the best Ryan movie yet. I would either keep Ben or go with someone in their early-mid 30's. Jack Ryan didn't start doing really interesting things until that age-range. Maybe someone like Casey Affleck. I also agree that these should be done true to the source material. The stories shadowed what was really going on and there should be no need to make Russia into Iraq or something stupid like that. Heaven forbid people think about the past a little in this "what's next" America we're living in. :)

Agree with both of you guys. The Fountain is one of MY favorites also, and PI & RFOD were amazing also. Looking forward to this show!
