Wes Craven has been talking briefly about a number of his upcoming projects.
While talking to syndicated columnists Marilyn Beck and Stacy Jenel Smith, Craven gave word on what he's up to, saying, "We just signed to do a film called PULSE for Dimension Films. We'll be doing that next. It's a ghost story involving computers."
He adds, "We're doing a serious rewrite on FOUNTAIN SOCIETY, and I just finished a rewrite of DROWNING RUTH, which was an Oprah (Winfrey) pick of the month."
PULSE is a remake of a Japanese horror film of the same name. Craven plans to jump on board DROWNING RUTH after PULSE wraps, both in 2002. SOCIETY, which is based on the director's own novel, is on a production back burner.
