Does anyone else need a score to keep track of all the Justice League members appearing in Batman vs. Superman? Variety broke the news that stage actor Ray Fishers has been picked by Warner Brothers to appear in Batman vs. Superman as Cyborg (aka Victor Stone). Fisher, who was rumored to be in contention for Star Wars: Episode VII, will join Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg, Gal Gadot and Amy Adams.

Warner Brothers did not comment on the story.

So who is Cyborg?

According to the Official DC Comics Bio:Nowadays, everyone’s juggling an offline and online persona. But only one hero is a literal marriage of technology and man. Half human, half machine, Victor Stone is Cyborg, a digital and physical tank—and a true superhero for the modern age.

Although a star athlete, Vic Stone only yearned for his father’s approval. But Dad was too focused on his scientific career to notice… until the day Vic became his greatest experiment. After Vic suffered a grave injury, his father saved him by replacing over half his body with cybernetic parts.

Now Cyborg is plugged into every computer on Earth, and no firewall—or brick wall—can keep him out. While his cybernetic enhancements provide superhuman strength, speed, and endurance, that same technology destroys his chances to live as a professional athlete. Now flourishing in the digital realm, Vic is desperately alone in the physical world—and still longs for his father’s affection.  Hungry to find purpose again, he fights alongside the World’s Greatest Super Heroes”.

I'm worried that they're about to completely destroy everything good they did with Man of Steel by putting all these characters in this new one.  I just have a bad feeling about this.  And before anyone calls me a "hater", shut the eff up.  I don't "hate" for no reason.  I really liked MoS and I feel like they're about to bastardize it because they feel like they need to play catch-up with Marvel Studios in one movie.  I just think they're trying too hard.  They're gonna fuck it up...

Let's just call this movie by it's true title: JUSTICE LEAUGE.

Look... I thought that Zack Snyder successfully juggled multiple "heros" in Watchmen, when no one thought it was even possible, so there's no reason to doubt that he can do a great job handling multiple super heros with this.

They should change the name to Justise league origins at this point.  They are just being hard headed at this point.

I agree Dazzler.  Especially if they are all having big roles.  I could undertand a tease at the end like what Marvel did, but there is a lot going on with out any background movies to make the casual fan care.

If they keep Wonder Woman and Cyborg as almost cameo appearances, then it'll be fine, otherwise it sounds like a big mess. They must keep the story centered on Superman and Batman as his somewhat foil (at least at the beggining).

It all depends on how they use the characters, which means use WW and Cyborg very very little.

I've never been a fan of Cyborg; I just don't find the character very interesting but to each his own I guess.  This movie is starting is starting to look more and more like Batman & Robin with every announcement.

This is awesome news! I'm a huge fan of Ray Fisher and seen all of his movies. They couldn't have picked a better actor to play such a powerful DC icon.

While I disagree with the shunning of Martian Manhunter for Cyborg, I think it would be interesting to use just Victor Stone in this movie. Maybe the conflict that arrises during this film can cause his injuries, which causes his "upgrade", so to speak. That way, he can be in the film for a few minutes (maybe during a fight at a football stadium, seeing as how he was a quarterback), then his cyborg identity can be introduced later.

I really think you won't see the rest of the League til the end of the movie when they invite Clark to join up. I have a feeling the League is formed, its just not public yet.
