the book was good but it's predecessor was one million times better. I wish they had made that first because i think that now the chances of Angels & Demons coming out is really low. Oh well but still I have been looking forward for this movie since i first heard of it. I can't wait!!!

Brown's new book is supposed to focus on washington d.c. and it's secret societies, not sure when it's coming out though, Langdon's in it too I guess, maybe there will be a series of movies. Money will probably be the deciding factor.

Great trailer for an entertaining novel. May 2006 is shaping up to be a box office bonanza for mthe studios.

Not a big fan of the subject matter, but you can't deny the movies' appeal. As long as intelligent viewers realize it's all fictional, and the film itself doesn't make light of Christian beliefs and heritage, then I really don't have a problem with watching it.

Trailer looks great. Have to admit, wasn't too keen on Hanks being cast initially, but he definitely looks the part.

Tom Hanks is the Jimmy Stewart of our day! I haven't read the book, but I look forward to the film because of him!

Hey vaporman87... just so you know, it's not all fictional. Dan Brown based his story off a lot of historical facts which makes the his story even more interesting. Catch The Learning Channel... they're running all sorts of shows based off the historical facts because of the publicity of The DaVinci Code.

hey jwesty...news flash! the da vinci code is FICTION. go to a bookstore, what section is it in? FICTION. go to a library, what section is it in? FICTION. Regardless of how many lame, manipulative crapass tv specials the learning channel and everyone else puts out, the book remains FICTION. Jurassic Park was also based on real scientific facts...but it's still FICTION. I think the point vaporman87 is making is that we (America as a whole) need to acknowledge that Dan Brown writes FICTION...and quit buying into the whole subculture of psuedo-fact that has arisen out of this, dare I say it, MEDIOCRE book.

Im with the minority of this one. Da Vinci Code was not a great book, but anytime something FICTIONAL or not tries to have fun with the figure of Jesus people get all worked up..... Im skipping this one
