I liked STID but there were a few plot holes that kept me from loving it. Glad to see it do well and hope the series continues.
Just got back a bit ago from taking the kids to see this. We all enjoyed it but thought it was good, not great.
The first one was just okay but supposedly this one is much better. I'll check it out.
I really liked both Pitch Black and COR so looking forward to this one. I actually liked COR better so hopefully they continue to build on that mythology while having some space monsters thrown in for good measure a la Pitch Black.
I had read the book already so was a big fan of the movie. I didn't think it could be pulled off on the big screen but they did a heck of a job. Of course, I also loved John Carter so there you go.
No coincidence that when you think of Stephen King adaptations, 3 that are usually mentioned are Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile and The Mist. All 3 were done by Frank Darabont. I really enjoyed all 3 but that ending to The Mist is still a kick in the balls.
I really enjoyed the book Ender's Game but thought it should have ended there as a standalone book. The trailer looked good and this will be a theater visit for me.
NoPatch, Paul had Nick Frost and Simon Pegg but wasn't directed by Edgar Wright. I'm a huge fan of all three and can't wait for this one.
To each his own Yelder. I thought Spartacus was a bad ripoff of 300 and only watched a few episodes. I have read the entire Fire & Ice book series and think Game of Thrones is the best thing on TV right now.

I'm completely onboard now for MOS. This looks great and about time DC stepped up its game. I'm excited to see this and Thor: Dark World for some epic goodness.
