DANGER GIRL returns

By: Rob Allstetter
Date: Monday, August 12, 2002

DANGER GIRL creators J. Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell team up with artist Phil Noto for an all-new 48-page one-shot DANGER GIRL: HAWAIIAN PUNCH.

"Scott (Dunbier, WildStorm editor) e-mailed me one day about doing some work for WildStorm and that Jeff (Campbell) was doing a Danger Girl special," Noto says. "And I said, 'Oh, twist my arm.'

"I'm just thrilled. It's such a great book to live up to, even with what was set up after seven issues."

In the story, the trio's well-deserved vacation turns, dangerous, as the girls cross paths with a mysterious man who's making his tropical resort even more exclusive by destroying the competition. The Danger Girls try to stop the luau-lovin' hooligan before he takes out America's favorite theme parks.

The book is due early next year.
