Yes. In a perfect universe, Marvel would get back all the movie rights to all their characters.

Maybe Carnahan can do his thing over at Marvel. I'd like to see what he had in mind.
Sweet. But I hope they keep it out of the Avenger's universe. Daredevil needs to be dark and gritty. He needs to be in the Marvel Knights Universe or section. Him and Heroes for Hire and Moon Knight.
Or a series on FX would be great but with Powers I don't know if they'd want another superhero show. That's the reason they turned Breaking Bad down - they had too many anti-hero shows at the time and didn't want to be know as the anti-hero network. The head does regret it though but he says everybody makes bad calls.
I was thinking the same thing Hanso, I want to know what Carnahan's take on horn head was.
So, the headline should read "Daredevil nearly back to Marvel" perhaps?

With time, all will come back to Marvel...patience.
TV series goshdagnabit!
More than most of the other Marvel characters DD works great for a FX, TNT, or AMC action/law drama show. It fits with the gritty style of current "male-oriented" dramas like Justified, Longmire, or Breaking Bad. As TV it wouldn't require a big name stars to head it, so there is little chance of upsetting casting for Murdock, Electra, or Kingpin. The budget would be less than something requiring lots of FX. It would not be required to have a big B.O. opening, just good cable ratings. And unlike movies which have to be self-contained, it will be able to have the continuing storylines we are familiar with in comics.
I don't see how they can put together a movie, with no script, no director, no sets, no cast, and more importantly no clue in less than two months. They may have ultimately decided to put thier efforts into the FF reboot and the next X-men movie and just let these rights lapse.
Hell even if they did start shooting before Oct 10th what the hell were they going to shoot without a cast? An empty set?
But I think that Carnahan's take was so bad that even Fox passed on it.
I think a Daredevil TV series would work really well. You could throw in "street level" heroes, like Power Man, Iron Fist, Daughters of the Dragon, Black Widow, Punisher, (maybe a cameo by) Spider-Man, Doctor Strange,Captain America, Falcon ... OK, everybody in the Marvel Universe could, theoretically show up.
