Dark Horse's Indie Production company has optioned the rights to a horror comedy, WAR MONKEYS, based off a story concept by producer Chris Patton. The Hollywood Reporter says scribe Cleve Nettles is handling the script process while Mike Richardson is tapped to executive produce the project for Dark Horse.
Plot Concept: The story follows a janitor who, during a Christmas holiday, gets trapped in an underground research facility with military-trained Rhesus monkeys.
