Dark Horse Entertainment (publishers of 30 Days of Night, Hellboy & AVP) have released the teaser trailer for their upcoming web series, THE DESCENDANTS, courtesy of Youtube. The adaptation is based on the DH comic of the same name written and created by Joey Andrade and stars recent genre actor Ray Park (seen on the left as Darth Maul) in the feature role of the series. From the looks of the teaser trailer, Michael Clark Duncan is also playing a role in the web series. This teaser trailer was previously shown at a private panel in the San Diego Comic Con 2007 over the summer.

Here's the teaser trailer for THE DESCENDANTS...

It should also be noted that Ray Park is still attached as Danny Rand/Iron Fist in the upcoming IRON FIST adaptation. Some sites are still listing it as 2008 but I think we can be sure that will be moved to 2009 if production doesn't begin soon on the Marvel project.

Okay, yeah, the production value is lacking a certain quality.

True...production value is a little lacking, but come on, this is a "web series". This 'type' of entertainment just has no real pull yet.
Plus, let's face it, it looks as good as alot of stuff that sci-fi has tacked their name on. I can't wait to see the Sci-fi original: Python vs Boa 2: The search for Raptor Island!
