
'The Dark Knight' slips two notches in this weekend's top 10 box office derby.
According to estimates published by Box Office Mojo, the Batman sequel took in about $10 million this weekend, falling behind the reigning champ 'Tropic Thunder' as well as the two new starts 'The House Bunny' and 'Death Race'.
'The Dark Knight''s total domestic gross now stands at over $489 million.
In the record books, the movie moved up 4 places in the "All Time Worldwide Box Office" chart, where it now stands at #15. The week's receipts allowed the movie to surpass 'Finding Nemo', 'Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith', 'Spider-Man' and 'Independence Day'.
