DARK KNIGHT Halloween Promotion Nears

As we announced last Thursday, a Halloween festive pumpkin appeared over on Whysoserious.com, the promotion site for Nolan's upcoming DARK KNIGHT film. It led a lot of us to believe that some new type of teaser/trailer will appear on October 31 but as time rolls onward, that candle is nearing the bottom very quickly. The pumpkin itself is beginning to rot. Nobody official with the production has declared what will happen when this light goes out but as it with any viral marketing connected to something like DARK KNIGHT or JJ Abrams' CLOVERFIELD, it's up to the fans to notice it when something new appears.

As we already know, a 5-minute prologue of the Joker will be appearing before the IMAX edition of WB's I AM LEGEND on December 14, 2007. What this Halloween promotion will feature is anyone's guess...

THE DARK KNIGHT hits theaters July 18, 2008.

Well kwsupes, thanks i did notice it when i saw the pumpkin, but the poster "darksideofthemoon" was the first to make a reference of the half rotten pumpkin in his post. so a good call for him 2 :)

I think you guys have been staring at that pumpkin too long. Anyway I guess that's what this site is for, to get people talking and build up the anticipation. As if we need that.
