@JFDAVIS- the riddler insert is something taken from the batman hush storyline- in it the riddler actually figures out who batman is but bats still has a leg up on him becasue the riddler messed with Rah's pit of imortality and batman figured that out.

Seeing tahlia will be a big plus for the movie.

I hope the catwoman no show is just a rumor that would really be a great charachter to see.

will be pretty cool to see a new batcave and all the new toys he has put in it

Wonderwoman- I honsetly could care less. I dont think anyone could top the origional's performance anyway.

CAP- I will wait for a trailer

We've had 7 batman movies, 5 superman movies, but not anything form Wonder-woman or the Flash which are iconic DC characters what are WB playing at? They could at least bring back the justice league animated series or do another wonder woman cartoon, but hey, It's Batman & Superman all the way.

After reading those script details, somebody is just screwing around. It reminded me of a "leaked" Star Wars Episode III script that popped up around early 2003. It turned out to be someone's rehash of Star Wars Expanded Universe stories. It looks the same way here with The Dark Knight Rises details. And yeah, the fact that it has been confirmed that the Riddler will not be in this new movie should be a dead giveaway that it's fake.

What's all this muck about The Wolfman? I liked the movie. I thought it was well done. Yeah, it was released during the wrong time of the year (Halloween would have worked better), but it was still a good film.

Hobbs: Sometimes the posts take awhile. They show up eventually. You don't need to post duplicates.

SgtTechCom: I think Stan was only emphasizing that this film is the fourth Spider-Man movie in all, not actually called Spider-Man 4. Yes, the movie is a reboot.

Wiseguy: Captain America's possible failure will hurt you the most? That's a little pretentious of you. I am sure someone else out there would probably hurt more, particularly the obsessed fans. :P

Krath, where did I post duplicates?  The post I originally posted really didn't show up.

Ghost Rider director Mark Johnson talked about how he wasn't happy with Daredevil when promoting GR. He said that GR would be much better and look how that turned out. Granted Benny boy is not in this but I am still a little scared for what this guy may do to Cap. But everything so far looks good, so hopefully I am wrong.

I hope some of the Batman stuff is true.  I've been saying for a while that Black Mask would work perfectly for Nolan's Batman.  I think he could be a perfect villain and I can definitely see Tom Hardy playing that character.

Mark Steven Johnson and Joe Johnston are miles apart in quality of direction. Mark Johnson is a hack who couldn't direct his way out of a paper bag. He has the most generic lighting I've ever seen, it's the style of lighting that teachers attempt to teach at film schools, but the best students do it their own way. At least Joe Johnston has made a few good movies. I don't care what anyone says, I love The Rocketeer. Decent effects for their day, Timothy Dalton as an evil nazi, and Jennifer Connelly. That movie kicked ass. I wouldn't have been opposed to Joe Johnston bringing back Timothy Dalton to play Red Skull, but Hugo looks like he'll do a great job as well. Daredevil was a decent flick to me, but Ghost Rider was a sack of crap that I never want to watch again. That hurts me to say because Ghost Rider is one of my all-time favorite Marvel characters, the guy beat down Galactus. How many other Marvel characters can do that? But Mark Johnson took that film and turned it into a cheese fest. It could have been one of the best comic films if done right, with a dark tone. Perhaps some better actors as well. I'll never have faith in anything Mark Johnson does again. At leasr Joe Johnston has been in the industry for a while doing model work for and AD work for Lucas/Spielberg. I too like The Wolfman, in fact, I think it was pretty faithful to the original. Plus Joe directed Jumanji which is practically a children's classic. Plus, he also directed the original Honey, I Shrunk the Kids. With that credit on his resume, he should also direct the live-action Ant-Man film if that happens. His most dramatically satisfying film is October Sky, not a bad flick at all.

So, please, do not lump Joe Johnston and Mark Steven Johnson into the same category. Mark Johnson should be shot on sight.

Joe Johnston isn't the greatest storytelling-type director. He came from an FX background with Star Wars and George Lucas. That certainly isn't a bad thing, mind you, but he just hasn't had a big background in terms of honing his storytelling skills (no writing or directing experience prior to Honey, I Shrunk the Kids). Having said that, IMO, he's had some good (The Rocketeer, Jumanji, Jurassic Park 3) and very good movies (October Sky, Hidalgo, and H,ISTK) but those aside, he hasn't done anything great. Until then, he has yet to prove himself to me in terms of creative greatness. Hopefully, Captain America will change that. Maybe I'm wrong, but this new CA movie may be a make or break for him in terms of whether or not he can extablish himself as a great director. If CA fails he may be seem as a director who more or less just entertains rather than be capable of directing a great narrative feature.

It doesn't surprise me that WB still hasn't gotten the Wonder Woman franchise off the ground given their history of taking forever to reboot something. Besides, why are they pursuing a tv version of this great character instead of what they should be pursuing...a feature film franchise! If WB were compentent, they would do what Marvel is doing with their characters; release a number of their best characters (Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and Captain America etc.) and weave them around the upcoming Avengers movie. WB should make not only another Superman movie but also a new WM and Flash movies. They along with this next Green Lantern film should be weaved around a future Justice League franchise. Gee, there's an idea!

Wise, Lord knows you don't like what Nolan did with his Batman films (they're only the best Batman movies to date!) Anyway, I'm not interested in another debate about that, especially since we just had one recently. I'm just curious though, despite your dislike of his BM series, are you saying that Nolan isn't a capable director? Aside from BM, what about Momento, Insomnia, and Inception? Weren't any of them good? I forget who coined this phrase but I'll borrow it if no one here minds...THE DARK KNIGHT RISES 2012 BITCHES!!! LOL!!!
