Still on the fence if I will get this or not...it was very nice to see it on IMAX but not sure if I will re-watch it enough to buy it on BR. Will see...

What about deleted scenes? You know...like that very important scene where Wayne magically re-enters a completely locked down Gotham without ANY of his Bat-toys and risks the lives of the entire city? So odd they would cut something as important as that...
When are they going to just kill the Ultraviolet concept. It's horrible.
I'd rather buy a two year supply of green scrubby pads than waste a dime on this DVD. Although I'd like to hear the director's commentary regarding why he chose to make a Batman movie that's not about Batman, why he chose a fast food drive thru window voice for Bane, why no subtitles for Bane because you know – understanding dialogue is kind of important for a movie, why does Batman sound like Clint Eastwood's The Stranger, why the greatest detective in the world didn't figure out Miranda Tate was Talia al Ghul, why Harvey Dent didn't survive the fall but Batman did, how is it that you repair a bulging disk in a person's spine by punching it like a boxing heavy bag, where did Batman's gadgets and utility belt disappear to, why you chose such an awfully lame way for Bane to die, why you expected us to believe that every cop in Gotham would go into the sewers looking for one guy, how did some kid make the Grand Canyon leap and know Bruce Wayne was Batman because he saw it in his eyes, and the grand daddy why of all - Robin John Blake - are you friggin' serious? Didn't drink the kool aid when this hit the theater and I'm certainly not drinking it now after watching this train wreck of a CBM.
This could only be bought as a complete Trilogy Set....it would be worth it then...
Does anybody else HATE these Ultraviolet digital copies as much as I do??? I just tried downloading the UV copy of The Dark Knight Returns Part 1 on my PC yesterday. The movie shows up online, but to download it says open the software and click on the movie there. When I open the software, over half of my library doesn't show up. Hate, hate HATE UltraViolet.
Sorry for the rant, but at least I feel just a little bit better now.
I have to agree...this would work great in a Nolan Batman movie marathon.
The first two I remember walking away and thinking "finally...someone nailed a spectacular Batman." The last one was good, but I want to see it in context.
Even if you hated the last one...I feel it was better than all of the Burton/Schmuckmiser films combined.
There is an awesome boxed set coming out with the release of this. Thay show the cool box design and there is even a boxed set that comes with a maquette of the broken bat mask. Go to collider they have it in archives. I know i'll be buying to bluray boxed set myself.
What? No Tom Hardy audio commentary? I would have loved to hear him translate Bane.
