Milean, I assume you already have Begins and TDK on DVD, so why would you purchase the trilogy tickets?  Are they Imax tickets?

ELBAZ I remember reading about it too and it bugged me cause great actors of our time have portrayed iconic comic figures not all have done well but some have been good like Marlon Brando as Jor-el but when some idiot shakesphere actor comes and bitches how comics ruin movies! you know what it makes hollywood fun and entertaining and makes people sometimes relieve moments when they where kids saying wow i wonder what it would look like to see Iron-Man flying side by side with thor on a movie. And now i can. And in concern for Batman i want to see how well hardy will pull this off an hope just hope he snaps catwoman over his knee and gets her off this movie before she annoys me too much.

Hanso, Darth,

Yeah, I've already got both previous Bats on Blu-Ray.  I've never done a movie marathon, and some of the guys at work are going, so I'm going as well.  Just something different to do.  Here in Alabama, we don't have any AMC theatres or really any of the bigger movie chains they have in the bigger citites.  First chance I've really had to do something like this, as all of the local theatres have missed the boat with regards to the other movie marathons as of late.

That's cool man I just can't see myself in a movie theater for that long. The dark Knight rises will be close to three hours long, damn!

Mythos & ElBaz13, it was Malcolm McDowell (aka Soran f/ ST:Generations).  He ripped on Avengers and Star Trek. He said Patrick Stewart's acting was like "watching paint dry" and Avengers was "mindless crap."  This from a man who played Mr. Roarke on a Fantasy Island remake and is currently filming a TV movie Home Alone 5. Seriously.

Hanso, yep, I thought the same thing myslef.  That's why I forked up an extra $5 to sit in the balcony section with the bigger, more comfortable, leather seats!  I may have to go take a walk during TDK, we'll see...

Yeah, they are offering the trilogy leading up to a midnight release in my hometown to. We don't have IMAX though. Over 7 and a half hours of movies is quite the marathon gentelmen. I would love to try though. I missed Begins in theatre so that would be dope. You guys keep it real.

I saw TDK on our IMAX when they opened it in Febuary it was stll awesome. But I had tickets for the lord of the rings trilogy years ago when they played the extended cuts that lad to the midnight opening of Return of the King and yeah, that is a but numb a thon for sure.

This movie is going to rock. I liked Avengers as much as the next person but this is still going to kick serious ass. May even go down as the best film trilogy of all time...so far.

@fft5305 thats pretty funny home alone 5 thats almost as comical as hearing uwe bolle say he is a critcally aclaimed director. but then again wasn't mcdowell a sort of comic character in heroes? didnt he play the plant growing main villain in the first season?

TheScriber 7/6/2012 2:37:10 PM

Also I just watched Star Trek: Nemesis in which a young Tom Hardy steals scenes from Patrick Stewart like a pro. Can't wait like the rest of the world. : /
