Warner Bros. Pictures and director Christopher Nolan have one more city to take on before they wrap up the production for The Dark Knight Rises. Cue the Frank Sinatra or Jay-Z songs because New York is where Nolan and his crew will be end their journey, beginning production in the Big Apple on October 29. The last leg of shooting is expected to last around 14 days and the Los Angeles Times' 24 Frames reports that the "Occupy Wall Street" may even be used in some scenes though it won't be a part of the storyline.

While the person who'd been told of the plans said the protests could figure into the production, they said that doesn't mean they will be included in the storyline. In other words, Nolan, who's known for carefully planning out scenes months in advance, wouldn't necessarily be tweaking the script; he'd simply be using the protests as a backdrop or a stand-in for something that already exists in the film.

The third installment in Nolan's trilogy features an ensemble cast which includes Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Juno Temple, Josh Pence, Daniel Sunjata, Nestor Carbonell, Matthew Modine, Tom Conti, Joey King, Brett Cullen, Chris Ellis, Josh Stewart, Christopher Judge, Adam Rodriguez and Rob Brown. Returning franchise scribes David Goyer and Jonathan Nolan penned the screenplay.

The Dark Knight Rises into theaters July 20, 2012.
