It seems that Warner Bros is utilizing the same viral marketing techniques as JJ Abrams is doing with his 1-18-08 project. A new website for DARK KNIGHT has launched called Whysoserious.com . It seems to be based off an "advertisement" from the Joker (Heath Ledger) looking to recruit goons for his posse. It's a picture of Uncle Sam with Joker makeup spray painted on and text copied over the original text.
Warner Bros did the same exact thing with ibelieveinharveydent.com for releasing the first official look(pictured here) of the Joker a few months ago.
The coordinates are pointing towards San Diego where the Comic Con 2007 is currently opened to the public and the press. This most likely confirms that a teaser trailer or footage will indeed be shown at the event within the next day or so by Warner Bros and the Nolans.
Earlier reports said that DARK KNIGHT wouldn't make Comic Con instead opting for the Wizard World Chicago event. Last week, it was leaked that a trailer or footage would indeed be shown at the Comic Con event. Now, this new viral marketing site has launched focusing on the Joker confirming that something is about to happen...
