"Real terrorism is something that's important, and we should know more about it and what motivates people. I don't know that the world today has moved to become like the world of V because, I mean, the reason [the comic] was important in the '80s was Margaret Thatcher. [She] was an ultraconservative, and she was introducing policies that were extremely right wing, and so [Alan and I] thought it was a kind of sub-tyranny that she was running.
