Argh millean! You beat me to the joke. I was so going to say the exact same thing.
I have to make fun of Mouse on every GiJoe 2 breaking news. :)

Who needs the trades and studio press announcements when you have Dwayne Johnson on board your production. With the actor star poised to lead John Chu's G.I. Joe sequel, he was the first to reveal a glimpse of his Roadblock character in uniform and the first to confirm that Bruce Willis would be in as the first Joe, General Joe Colton. And now he's revealed via his Twitter that his friend DeRay Davis is also poised to play a character in the production which is shooting in New Orleans. Check out a photo of the two arm wrestling by clicking on the image above. There's no word yet on which character Davis will be playing.
Davis joins Channing Tatum (Duke), Dwayne Johnson (Roadblock), Ray Park (Snake Eyes), Byung Hun-lee (Stormshadow), Elodie Yung (Jinx), Adrianne Palicki (Lady Jaye), Ray Stevenson (Firefly), RZA (Blind Master), DJ Cotrona (Flint), Joseph Mazzello (Mouse), Walton Goggins (Warden Nigel James) and Bruce Willis (General Joe Colton). Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick penned the screenplay.
G.I. Joe 2 will hit theaters June 29, 2012.

Hey, I mentioned a Cat and Dog joke about this movie a few articles ago so i beat both of ya'll! haha
Okay. LOL. I swore I wasn't going to watch this after seeing the first one, but now? I have to. Willis and Johnson are two of my favorite action stars. Deletion of some former stars and now I'm a happy guy. G.I. JOOOOE!!!!!
Mouse is an actual Joe character, from the Screaming Eagles (WW2 era) line.
The more actors they add, the less screen time for Tatum. Seems like a fair trade.
So Mouse is an actual character?
Good lord. I just read the wiki entry. I had no clue. Probably because I disassociated myself from from the Sgt Slaughter crap. Even worse than I thought. Of all classic Joe characters, they chose Mouse. Geez, they could have had Joe Mazzello play Grunt, Short Fuse or Grand Slam. No, they chose a character to remind of us Sgt Slaughter being a Joe. (facepalm)
This would be equivalent to having Rage or Dr Druid in the Avengers movie or Vibe or Black Condor in an JLA movie.
@xJokersxWildx So far with the exception of Storm Shadow, where are all the Cobra Villians? I mean you know Joesph Gordon Levitt isn't returning, nor is Sienna Miller. Haven't heard anything on Christopher Eccelston returning. So exactly who are the Joes fighting in this film? Or does the studio think that we will be in such awe watching Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnston in a scene that we will forget that there are no villians to fight?
Never been a huge GI Joe fan, which I guess explains how I was able to enjoy the first movie for what it was.
I guess they are going to be fighting President Zartan, and they could cast anyone as him and play the "its a disguise" card. Hopefully Eccelston returns, and if they put Cobra in a frikkin' hood or mask then just cast a stuntman as the actor.
I bet he plays a brand new made-up character named Cat...
