DAWN OF THE DEAD is the new top-selling home video release for last week according to sales figures from retail outlets. The Universal horror remake sold more than 2 million VHS and DVD copies in less than seven days, and a million sales came from the title's first day of release, Tuesday October 26. Rental-wise, the film ranked fourth overall, generating a little over $5 million for video stores.
