DC Cancels orders for "Doctor Fate #1 and #2"

DC Comics has released a press release stating they have canceled orders for the upcoming titles: Doctor Fate #1, Doctor Fate #1 Variant Edition and Doctor Fate #2.

The titles are expected to be re-solicited at at later date.

No reason was given for the cancellation.

Hmm. . . could they be cancelling the series altogether? Or what else is going on?

DC, as of late, has not been having the major late-release issues that Marvel has been plagued by.

I'm interested in finding out what prompted this. Hopefully its just an editorial decision and not late artwork or, worse, sagging sales.
