Man that sucks vitieddie, I'm really into animation and was looking forward to that as it is gendy tartokovski's (samurai jack, symbionic titan) first movie. So it was no good then?

@shac and elbaz

I think kids will like it

The jokes were good and there are some witty dialogue but not enough for my taste ...

And the story gets predictable towards the end ... there is even a chase to the airport to save true love (i kid you not)

But its not terrible - suggest you go for it!

dont rely on a jaded viewer like myself :)

LOOPER this weekend ... oh yeah oh yeah

MrEt 9/28/2012 4:59:10 AM

Well I hope my kids have a good time of it we are planning on hitting it up this weekend.

Yeah, as I said on the review page, I'm seeing looper sunday and cannot wait!

Looper sounds a bit original, shac ... so i should not be sleeping by the third act :)

Are kids smart or what?

Tonight we had a screening of my Avengers blu-ray with the whole family. When Thor hit Cap's shield, my oldest asked me why Cap's shield did not get damaged. So I briefly explained the comicbook origin of the adamantium/vibranium mixture that Cap's shield is made of. Essentially, the same as Thor's uru metal and Wolverine's bones.

Then, later on the movie, when she sees Iron Man get his armor beaten up on the helicarrier, she looks at me and says "it's too bad Iron Man can't make his suit from the same metal as Captain America's shield, because he would never have to repair his suit and it would never get damaged"

I answered "uh yeah...I guess"

But it had me thinking. Why doesn't Stark build an adamantium suit? It's not like he doesn't have the money. Was this ever mentioned in Iron Man comics?

bec the source material says no! lol

maybe there is a tech limitation in doing so ... perhaps others can shed some light

Hookedonavengers2012 9/28/2012 9:30:37 PM

Elbaz...all of the rest of the worlds admantium/vibranium was used to make my moms diaphragm so Lazarus wouldnt pro create again....it simply had to be done! lol

Wiseguy 9/29/2012 11:42:29 AM

Adamantium is extremely difficult to manipulate and has a very short time in which to do it. And then it can not be further manipulated. Plus IM's suit I believe are made more from something more akin to nano tech than traditional metal. And even before it wasn't usually traditional metal. Then add everything that needs to be attached or run through it I think makes adamantium very unsuitable.

As for Cap's shield? well that specific formula was never duplicated much like the the super soldier serum, they're one of a kind

Hookedonavengers2012 9/29/2012 9:02:04 PM

5300 and still going strong! Awesome!  Yeah Caps shield has never been duplicated as far as I know.
